BCCI invites expression of interest from agencies for IPL media buying
The appointed agency will be responsible for designing and executing a media strategy across television, radio, digital media, print media, out-of-home (OOH) advertising, and outdoor innovations.
The BCCI has emphasised that interested agencies must have the capability to manage all these mediums in-house and on a similar scale.
The move aims to optimise budget allocation across various advertising platforms to maximise the league’s reach and engagement.
Shortlisted agencies will be required to submit a comprehensive media plan within a budget of Rs 30 crore (excluding taxes).
The proposals must include a detailed media strategy with specific cost breakdowns, proof of past work and in-house experience in media buying across all platforms, agency fee, commission or cost for each medium, potential discounts for bulk buying from market rates, and innovative outdoor advertising ideas to enhance IPL 2025’s visibility. The deadline to express interest is 10 March, while the final proposal submission deadline is 13 March.
